Weather-resistant signage is built to order. Common specifications include
400 x 300 mm for notices and compliance signage
1200 x 1000 mm for entrances and car park branding
2440 x 1220 mm, often used for retail parks and stadiums
up to 3000 mm wide, joined seamlessly for hoardings or estate directories
Panel thickness ranges from 3 mm ACM for standard applications up to 10 mm PVC or solid aluminium for heavy-duty sites. Depths of 50–150 mm are typical for illuminated or tray-based designs.

Signs are delivered with fixings prepared for installation. Smaller weather-resistant panels can be fitted directly to walls. Larger freestanding systems require posts and concrete foundations. Weather-resistant signs are manufactured with durable substrates such as ACM, aluminium or stainless steel. They are finished with protective coatings and UV-stable inks to prevent fading, corrosion or warping.
With the right material choice and coatings, most weather-resistant signs last 7–10 years. Stainless steel and powder-coated aluminium offer the longest lifespans.
