  • 3D lettering delivers strong visibility in daylight without relying on lighting
  • Halo lighting adds a premium look on stone or brick facades
  • Face-lit letters improve legibility at night in busy streets
  • Aluminium keeps weight down on older fascias
  • We use efficient LEDs and recyclable metals. To see how we manage energy and waste, visit our sustainability and environmental practices page

Wipe faces and return with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasives on acrylic and polished metal. Check fixings and cabling during routine cleaning. LEDs have a long service life, and drivers are replaceable if needed. We can provide planned maintenance or reactive callouts.

Assembly Instructions

Letters arrive with a paper or acrylic template to mark fixing points. Studs or rails are secured first, then letters attach to the fixings. For illuminated sets, drivers are mounted in a tray, behind the fascia or in a suitable access point. Electrical connections should be completed by a qualified professional. 3D Letter Signs FAQs

What is the difference between 3D letter signs and built-up letters?

Built-up letters are a common type of 3D letter. They use folded returns and faces to create depth. Flat-cut letters are also 3D when mounted on stand-offs but have no returns.

Aluminium and stainless steel perform best outside. Aluminium keeps weight low. Stainless steel gives a premium finish and excellent durability.

Yes. We use calibrated print and paint systems for accurate colour matching. Test plates are available before production.

Not always. Non-illuminated letters work well in daylight and well lit interiors. Choose face-lit for legibility at night. Halo-lit suits premium brands that want a subtle glow.

Most sets use stud fixings with stand-offs or carrier rails. We provide templates to position holes accurately.

Yes. We follow your vector artwork and scale to the correct letter heights. Complex shapes are CNC cut for precision.

It depends on material and size. Aluminium is light. Stainless steel is heavier. We will check the substrate during survey and design the fixing method accordingly.

Acrylic faces and substrates are specified with appropriate fire performance for commercial interiors. All electrical components meet relevant standards.

LEDs typically run for many years. Drivers are accessible and replaceable. We can supply spare parts for planned upkeep.

Yes. External and illuminated signs may require Advertisement Consent. Our planning support covers drawings and submissions.

Standard projects take 2–4 weeks after approval. Large or complex sets are scheduled to your programme.

We can repaint, replace faces, retrofit LEDs and repair fixings.
