Suspended Signs (Illuminated & Non-illuminated)

£37.00

£55.20 (inc. VAT)

Simple, versatile and highly visible.

Suspended signs are mounted from the ceiling or from overhead structures. They create clear directional or branding displays that appear to float above the space.

They are a popular choice in retail stores, receptions, showrooms and transport hubs. Visibility from a distance is one of their biggest advantages.

Sometimes called ceiling-hung signs or drop-down signs, they can be illuminated or non-illuminated. You may want a glowing feature sign that stands out at night. Or you might need a clean non-illuminated panel for wayfinding. Either way, suspended signage offers flexibility without using wall or floor space.

Graphics can be applied in several ways:

UV digital print for bold imagery and branding

Vinyl lettering or overlays for logos and text

Raised or cut-out lettering for a premium effect

Illuminated panels with LED modules for eye-catching brightness

Protective coatings and finishes such as anti-graffiti or UV laminate can be added for extra longevity.

Suspended Sign FAQs

What is a suspended sign?

It’s a panel hung from the ceiling or overhead structure, used for branding, directions or wayfinding in busy spaces.

They’re common in retail stores, offices, receptions, airports, transport hubs, showrooms and concourses.

Usually not. However, if installed in a listed building or public-facing space, approval may be required. We can advise on this.

Yes. Illumination can be built into the panel with LEDs or added externally using trough lights.

Not always. Signs can be single-sided if placed against a wall, or double-sided to be seen from multiple directions.

Standard sizes include 600×400 mm, 800×600 mm and 1000×500 mm, but we can make any custom size.

With proper care, LED panels last 5–10 years depending on use. Non-illuminated panels often last even longer.

They are fitted using wires, rods or chains securely fixed to the ceiling. For illuminated versions, electrical work must be carried out by a qualified installer.

Yes. Our nationwide team provides safe, professional installation for both illuminated and non-illuminated suspended signage.
